Biography:Joao Justino came to Australia as a refugee following the war in East Timor. He had been a student and guitarist in Timor and had also studied in Lisbon, Portugal. In Australia he formed a group which performs Timorese music, songs and dances. The dances are taught to children. The group is based in south-west Sydney but plays all over Australia.
