Summary:
Stretching from Elizabeth Street in the north of the Municipality to the Western side of St. Kilda Road in the south, the small area of Melbourne is the largest business and residential location in the City of Melbourne. During the 1990s, the over-supply of office space in the CBD (Central Business District) and the Postcode 3000 initiative led to resurgence in inner city living and the CBD is now bigger in residential terms, than Carlton. -- TAKEN FROM KEY FINDINGS.
