Summary:Using data from 2001 and 2006 Censuses of Population and Housing, this report highlights the key ways in which characteristics and circumstances of the City’s residents changed between 2001 and 2006. The usual resident population grew by over 40%, at an annual average growth rate of 4.2%. Students comprised 49% of the total population in 2001 and 48% in 2006.
