Photographer who had a studio in Hobart in partnership with Harold Riise. Opened the Falk Studios in Sydney end of 1886 and his sitters included the actors brought out by J. C. Williamson. He was one of the leading portrait photographers in the country. In 1897 he went to London and established himself as a leading photographer whose clients included the Royal family. In 1920 he retired to France and collected and sold contemporary French art.
