The papers consist mainly of personal letters to his wife. There are some photographs, newpaper cuttings and a school magazine recording his obituary.
- Biography/History:

Lloyd Pursehouse joined the Public Service as a cadet. He was patrol officer in charge of the Finschhafen District at the outbreak of the war. As a member of A.N.G.A.U. he watched Japanese movements in Finschhafen. He was killed in enemy action at Sio in 1944.
