Sydney Jackson, born 1945, Lenora, W.A. Jackson was about 3 years old when he and his two sisters were removed from their mother. He describes the living conditions at Roelands Mission, W.A. where he lived until a white family fostered him at the age of 15. Jackson also speaks about his football career, playing for East Perth and later for Carlton, and about his work to encourage and facilitate Indigenous participation in sport.
