MS 6669 comprises a small collection of letters and photographs relating to Miss Pharo's services to Lady Munro-Ferguson: Letters from Lady Munro Ferguson, Captain the Hon Bede Clifford later Earl of Chudleigh and others to Miss Pharo for the period 1900 to 1921. Most of these acknowledgements for Miss Pharo's services and farewell notes on Miss Pharo's departure from Government House. There is also a small group of subject files of copies of "out letters" from the Governor General's office. These consist of official letters to various organisations: The Society for Welfare of Mothers and Babies; The Friendly Union of Soldiers' Wives; The Imperial War Relief Fund and the soldiers' Welfare Committee. The photographs in this collection are of Lady Munro Ferguson, Captain Clifford and Miss Pharo.
MS Acc22.155 comprises correspondence to Miss Pharo from Lord Henry William Forster, a christmas card from Lady Novar (Lady Helen Munro Ferguson), and a letter to Miss Pharo's mother, May Wann, from an employee at Government House. Also included is a Queen Elisabeth Medal awarded to Miss Pharo recognising exceptional services to Belgium in the relief of the suffering of its citizens during the First World War, and is accompanied by a certificate. The medal was awarded to women, both Belgians and foreign nationals, who worked and cared for Belgian refugees and the military during the First World War by providing financial, material or medical assistance.
