Colt model 1849 pocket revolver: five shot, .31 calibre, 5" barrel. Made between 1853 and 1856 (probably late 1855)--Information supplied by researcher. Acquired by Frank Clune whilst researching and writing Ben Hall- Wild Colonial Boys from Henry Taylor (grandson of James Taylor) from Ford's Bridge, New South Wales.
