- Maps by Jean Rotz reduced from his original atlas in Ms. Department, British Museum, Photo Praetorius. Other maps are reduced facsimiles of part of Descelier's map of the world.
- Accompanied by explanatory notes: Early charts of Australia (from The Sydney Morning Herald, April 15, 1886).
- National Library of Australia's copy does not include The Dauphin map (2 parts).
