- Summary:
-
"Cuppa entrance track, Naas Road at 1345 hrs 18:01:2003. With the onset of extreme fire weather, the extended free burning flanks of the Stockyard, Bendora and Broken Cart fires blew up into massive running blazes sending dense smoke plumes to blacken the skies to the south of Canberra. It was extraordinary, for I had seen midnight last turned into midday on the southern side of Tennent, and now the midday hours turned to midnight on the northern side - quite bizarre!"--Note from the photographer.
