"Viewed from Mount Coree, at 1839 hrs 08:01:2003. Shortly after dry thunderstorm activity was reported in the Brindabella Ranges by fire lookouts, Mount Coree tower reported smoke plumes from the Bendora fire at 3.25pm, (middle) and Stockyard Spur fire at 3.41pm, (right) some 13 & 26 km to the south, viewed here in clearing air at 6.39pm. Not visible are the low burning and more distant Mount Gingera, Mount Morgan, Broken Cart Trail and Captains Flat fires in NSW."--Notes from the photographer.
