"Millar Place Kambah at 1640 hrs, 18:01:2003. It was far from instantaneous, for it took some 15 minutes after the fire had arrived for the work of embers to develop strong fires in the woodheap and burn out the old fence palings. However, having found a primed and ready garden hose, it took me only minutes to extinguish the gardens and woodheap"--Note from the photographer.
