- The broadside has a black and white portrait of Captain Cook in the centre and two extracts from the journal. One extract describes the ceremony that took place on Possession Island on 22 August 1770. The other is a passage written by Captain Cook in August 1770 after had had completed the navigation of the entire east coast of Australia.
