Alice Marbach, born 1926, Switzerland. Marbach speaks about moving to Australia from Switzerland, her studies at the Assembly of God Church at Woombye, Qld. and her time as dormitory matron at Daintree River Mission from 1957 to 1962. She talks about the administration of the Mission, her fostering of twin boys who had been removed from their parents, and her decision to open a foster home in Townsville. Marbach also discusses her experiences as a foster mother over 22 years and the current situation of some of her foster children.
