- Top lefthand part only of Quarter sheet no. 13SW as issued in the Geological Survey of Victoria 1:31,680 quarter sheets. This is only a black & white reproduction of the original geological map using a cadastral base. Only the parish of Faraday is shown. Only some cadastral detail is shown. Relief shown by hachures. The ancillary map beneath is only the top lefthand part of Quarter sheet 1NW with only the town of Keilor shown (now a suburb of Melbourne) and includes some cadastral detail. It too is given as only a black & white reproduction of the original sheet map.
- The full Quarter sheet 13SW is a geological map centred on the town of Elphinstone at bottom centre of map in the parish of Chewton. The map also includes the parishes of Faraday and Hawkstone, all in the County of Talbot with some cadastral detail. Includes three geological notes in left margin. Relief shown by hachures.
- The full Quarter sheet 1NW is a geological map of Melbourne with cadastral details. Includes parts of the Parishes Maribyrnong, Doutta Galla and Jika Jika within the County of Bourke. Relief shown by hachures.

- National Library of Australia's copy of this map at Map RM 4195/7 includes two map remnants which have been severly cut down to fit within folder with only the top left part of both sheets intact. These two map remnants are mounted on brown paper which has also been annotated in pen: No. 13, Hill work on stone by Thomas Ham, 1859 (printed after 1,000 copies).
