After his return from completing his studies at the Royal Academy, London, Dadswell commenced in 1929, at the age of 21, the 12 panels in the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne, which depic every unit of the Australian Forces in action during the 1914-1918 war. He has won many competitions, including the Wynne Art Prize, and today is Head Teacher of Sculpture at East Sydney Technical School. Australian Official Photograph. L.18644.
