Folkloric recording. Mick Flanagan tells humourous stories about coming to Australia and the places he has worked. He also discusses his life at sea and his many years on the Tasmanian ferries.
- Biography/History:

Mick Flanagan was born in Galway, Ireland in 1937. He is the nephew of the famous Irish accordion player, Joe Cooley. He spent many years in the Cooley household soaking up the music and song from older players. Mick started playing and singing at an early age and was involved the British 'folk revival' playing with his own and other groups.
