MS Acc12.015 comprises miscellaneous correspondence and a small number of black and white photographs (some autographed by Stone), copies of Stone's articles, including an article on the trial of Adolf Eichman, and other reviews and articles. The collection also comprises material relating to the Julius Stone Centenary Conference in 2007. Other material relates to the death of Stone in 1985 and the later death of Zena Sachs in 2011 (3 folders).

Lawyer and professor of law. Julius Stone was born at Leeds, Yorkshire in 1907. He was a Master of Laws student at the University of Leeds and in 1936 graduated as a Doctor of Civil Law from Oxford University. He was Dean of Law at Auckland University College prior to his appointment to the University of Sydney Law School where he was Challis Professor of International Law and Jurisprudence from 1942 until 1972. He was also a visiting professor at Hastings College of Law in California, and following his retirement in 1972, became Professor of Law at the University of New South Wales. He was the author of a number of books and numerous articles on law and international relations. In 1973 he was awarded an OBE and in 1981 he was made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO). Stone died at Rose Bay, Sydney in 1985.
Lawyer and research assistant. Zena Sachs was born in Sydney in 1913. She was Professor Julius Stone's research assistant for over forty years and shared a very close relationship with the family. Sachs died in 2011 aged 97.
