Morris and occasionally Mrs Ping and Mrs Morris speak of local history of Thirlmere including the Harmony House tragedy in which many state ward babies died of a gastroenteritis epidemic; local timber mills; transportation; poultry farms; Estonians in the district; local characters; local buildings.
