- Australia appears as New Holland with Tasmania attached to mainland.
- Map consists of 2 hemispheres.
- Date of publication based on street address on box lid. John Wallis Junior was located at 188 Strand from 1806 to 1808.
- Imprint on map: Published as the Act directs, Jany. 1st 1787 by the Proprietor J. Wallis in his Map Warehouse, Ludgate Street, London.
- Title from label on wooden box.
- Housed in original publisher's cedar box with sliding lid.
- Printed title label with slip label 'World'. Label on spine of wooden box: World.
- Contemporary inscription inside lid 'Henry Samuel Daller from his affectionate sister S.M. Daller'. Further inscribed inside the bottom of the box 'Outside pieces 29 / Inside pc. 40 / total 69. H S Daller from his sister S M Daller 1811'.
