Description
Coffs Harbour's initial water supply was from a small dam on upper Coffs Creek, near the present Catholic Club. In 1935 the Public Works Dept. recommended laying a supply main from the Orara. In January 1937 work began on a pumping station. The official turning on was 27 November 1937.
