- Bushranger Medal awarded to the
four Faithfull Brothers. Gold medal with finely
woven 27mm wide faded pale blue ribbon, which
is far less faded on the reverse side. The
swivel attachment of the 32mm wide lower ribbon
suspender bar has three 'fingers' clasping
the obverse and reverse faces of the medal.
'William Percy Faithfull, George Ernest Faithfull,
Henry Montague Faithfull, Reginald Faithfull'
is hand engraved in the reverse. Around the
edge is 'Granted For Gallant And Faithful Service'.
The obverse bears the head of a young Queen
Victoria. Around the edge is 'Colony of New
South Wales'. The maker's name 'Hardy Bros.,
London' is in relief on the base of Queen Victoria's
neck.
