The collection was donated to the National Library in two instalments, 1990 and 1991.
Historical note
Non-profit organisation which organises each year a National Music Camp, a season of the Australian Youth Orchestra, and state and regional camps. The first camp was held at Point Lonsdale, Victoria in 1948. The Australian Youth Orchestra was formed in 1957.
The National Music Camp changed its name to Australian Youth Orchestra, then Youth Music Australia. It is currently known as the Australian Youth Orchestra.
