of the Ascension for approval of the

SApplication from E. N. Gaden,
solucitor, acting for M. A. Thompson,
for permilt to build a blake house on
land fronting Orchard Street, Taralga,
was received andi approved, suhject to
an amendment in the specifications
as approveil by the engineer.
A report was also received from the
engineer concerning the complaint of
G. K. EfcLaughlin, of danaige to his
Ilanil by storm water from the road.
The engineer also reported on road
leading off the Greenwich Park Road
near Towrang, was received and
adopted. A report from the engineer

Currawang Road was also received
and adlopted.

Qktotations for bituimen heater were
desilt'wlth, together with a report from
the 'Shire Engineer. On the-engineer's
recommendation, it was agreed to pur
chase the heater at the prIce of
£180/6/0.
Memorandum was received from the
Shire Clerk regarding provisions for
the proposed lighting of streets in the
urban area of Taralga. The clerk was
requested to make further inqulrles.
A verbal report was made by Messrs.
E. F. Thomas and Brennock regard.
