THE SUFFRAGISTS.
BURNING OUTRAGE IN IRELAND.
LONDON, March 27.
Last night Major-General Sir Hugh
McCalmont's mansion, Abbeylands, at
White Abbey, County Antrim, was de-
stroyed by fire. The damage done is
estimated at £15,000. Suffragists are
suspected of having committed the out-

which was not occupied at the time of

A suffragist messnge was found at
Abbeylands addressed to Sir Edward
