  4. CAN AMOUNIS WIN EPSOM FOR THIRD TIME?

SATURDAY'S remarkable effort by Amounis to narrowly win the Canterbury Stakes, of six furlongs, on the lightest of preparations, points to the Magpie gelding again being a force to be reckoned with in sprint company this Spring. There is practically nothing between them in the picture, despite the angle, and the verdict of half a head in favor of Amounis (outside) was undoubtedly correct. Margarethal, who made practically all the running, was third. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
