One of the many sections of the sale model of Mulberry, the port which was constructed in England and towed to France for the invasion of Normandy. This exhibit is being sent to Adelaide for the Royal Adelaide Exhibition opening in March. This photo was taken in London, where the model was exhibited. In the foreground a pierhead model is shown. The pierhead was large and afloat to take the heavy equipment, and was connected with the land by the pier in the right middle of the picture.
