  2. PERTH RAILWAY STATION IN 1892.

    At the time the photograph was taken Western Australia was just beginning t) command attention from the outside world, by reason of the greai gold dimncries at Coolgardie. A swamp skirted the station, and the work of reclaiming the land was in progress, a road and a culvert having previously been provided. The old bridge shown below appears on the light of the view.
