After immense labour, and a number of narrow escapes from death by traps, he penetrates to a series of six amazing galleries, in one of which he finds a small temple wherein is the form of a beautiful woman under a glass dome. He calls in the aid of his friend Dr. Barry, and the two proceed to lift the dome. When this is done Dr. Barry reanimates the woman by injecting certain fluids found in the temple.
