This Picture is a Photographic Reproduction of a Group of Portraits which hangs in the Vestibule of Parliament House, Sydney. It does not represent, as many persons believe, the Members of the first N.S.W. Legislative Assembly, but those of the "first Legislative Assembly under the Reform Act of 1858," which was really the third Parliament after the establishment of Rospon[?] Government. Many of the members of the first Parliament, however, are to be seen here, and these may be discovered by a reference to the list of original members. No photographic record exists of the mem[?] of that Parliament whose Fiftieth Anniversary has Just been celebrated. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
