FANNED BY A HOT NORTH WIND, fresh outbreaks of gross fires on Saturday destroyed a number of homes at Rosanna, Cheltenham, and in other near city districts. Suburban fire brigades, members of the services, and voluntary helpers worked hard to keep the flames from spreading, and further damage was checked by rain. Picture at left shows Mr and Mrs A. A.
