FOR this loaf, wholemeal S.R. flour was used, but white S.R. flour can be substituted. Mix two cups of flour with one tablespoon sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix to a firm dough with milk, and add during the mixing 2 oz. of sultanas. Shape into a scone loaf, place, on a floured tin, and bake in a quick oven. This recipe will also make good scones. ...
