Ms Commonplace book of Charles Thomson, an American, containing transcripts of Cook's voyage with notes of letter from Spanish Mercury, 7 January 1780 concerning Cook's death. Also extract of a letter from Mr. Pallas, professor at Petersburg to Mr. Busching, Counsellor at Berlin, dated 21 December 1779, re Cook's death and Capt. Clarke's call at Kamschatka.
