Summary
An excellent example of the way in which the image of the Australian bush was presented to the rest of the world via the classrooms at the turn of the 20th century. This striking vision of the outback, mounted as a school wall hanging, depicts kangaroos, cockatoos, an emu and a platypus amidst the grass trees, grevillias and eucalypts of the open forest.
