Acts/Ordinances/Statutes - Tasmania
Reprint of Statutes
1978-
The Tasmania's Legislation website includes all acts in consolidated form since 1997, or at any selected date since then. In 1978, the Government printer began reprinting acts for inclusion in a loose-leaf binder system. Prior to this date, from 1953-1976, reprinted Acts were bound with the annual volumes of statutes. These reprints updated acts that had been included in the 1936 and 1959 multi-volume consolidations.

Reprint of Statutes is a Current Series of Acts/Ordinances/Statutes - Tasmania
From its founding in 1803 to 1825, the laws of Tasmania (known as Van Diemen's Land until the beginning of 1856) were those of New South Wales, supplemented by Government and General Orders promulgated by the Lieutenant Governor in Tasmania.
From 1826 to 1856, the acts of the Legislative Council were published in the Hobart Town Gazette, and occasionally printed in volumes covering a short period.
The acts of the Tasmanian Parliament established in 1856 have been published as Acts of the Parliament of Tasmania 1856-1980, and Statute Law of Tasmania since 1981, though the spine title of both since 1960 has been Tasmanian Statutes.
Tasmanian acts and regulations have been online in consolidated form since 1997.
