South Australian Parliamentary Papers began in 1851. From 1851-1856 they were part of the Votes and proceedings of the Legislative Council. From 1857, they are part of the Proceedings of the Parliament of South Australia, with copies of documents ordered to be printed. Papers for both Houses are bound together. Papers presented annually retain the same number from year to year.
