Statutory Rules is a Previous Series of Subordinate Legislation/Regulations - Australia (Commonwealth)
Commonwealth regulations, officially known as Statutory Rules, were published in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette from 1901 to 1903. An unofficial edition of regulations "of practical utility" was also published by the Law Book Company covering the period 1901-1927. From 1904 to 1914, they were published in pamphlet form, but few copies survive. From 1914 onwards, annual sets of volumes have been published. The numbered regulations (i.e. as originally passed) are available online since 1979.
The Statutory Rules series ceased from 1 January 2005. It was replace with the Select Legislative Instruments series which includes regulations and rules of court. Select Legislative Instruments are available online.
Consolidated editions of regulations as in force were published covering the periods 1901-1914, 1901-1927, 1901-1956, as well as more regular private editions. The consolidated regulations are available online since 1981.
