Parliamentary Debates (Hansard) - Northern Territory

The Legislative Council Debates cover the period 1948/1949 to 26 September 1974. In 1974 an elected Legislative Assembly was constituted which replaced the Legislative Council. Since 1974 most of the publications of the Territory are contained in the Parliamentary Record which is divided into four parts, one part being the parliamentary debates.

The Parliamentary Record is issued in three parts: Part I, Debates, Part II, Question Paper, Part III, Minutes of Proceedings. From 1970–1978, it included Part IV: Bills. A separate index has been published for the period 1974–1980. Consult sessional volumes for index, 1981+.
