Arnold, a dancer and choreographer, discusses the structure of NAISDA and its function, his role as course director, the needs of NAISDA students, the teachers at NAISDA, the difficulties in maintaining and developing the course, the politics behind the proposed move of NAISDA and indigenous culture. He speaks about his early background and childhood in Philadelphia, his dance training in America, his siblings and their jazz background; and various dance influences especially Anna Sokolow.
