In spite of the findings in the McCabe-Lafranchi Report, Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser is hoping that existing legislation will obviate the need to employ retrospective legislation to recover tax from bottom-of-the-harbour tax evaders. In the circumstances, what could be more retro than the Prime minister dressed up as Lord Sebastian Flyte from Brideshead Revisited, which is currently all the rage on the telly.--Information provided by Geoff Pryor.
