The first six annual reports of the Van Diemen's Land Company, 1826-1831, bound in one volume. The first report, 1826, is a manuscript copy signed as being a correct copy by Sam K. Ewen, clerk to the company. The other five reports are printed by the Robson, Blades and Company, Abchurch Lane, Lombard Street, London. The fourth report, 1829, contains, as a supplement, the "History of the origin, rise and progress of the Van Diemen's Land Company", reprinted from the "Colonial Advocate", Hobart Town, 1st May 1828. The name James Bischoff appears in ink on the front end paper.
