Transcript in late 18th century of the Cortes (National Assemblies convened by the King on various dates from 1385-1497, from the Senate of the city of Oporto). These assemblies were in the days before Parliaments functioned anywhere. Among the transcripts included, are the laws compiled by Emanuel in 1514. Other documents such as notes on these assemblies are interspersed throughout the book. This material presumably has not been published.
