Boseley, a Indigenous film maker, speaks about his discovery as a teenager that his maternal grandmother was Aboriginal. She had been removed from her mother at the age of 8 and placed in the Salvation Army Girls' Home in Fullarton, Adelaide. Boseley recalls his grandmother's memories of her time at the Home. She later moved to Melbourne where she married. Boseley describes his family's efforts to trace his grandmother's Aboriginal family and the 1994 reunion in Alice Springs with 45 relatives including her brother Charles Perkins. He speaks about the film he is making based on his relationship with his grandmother, and about his wish to learn his people's Eastern Arrente language and discover more about their culture.
