- "This print depicts one of a number of speculative residential designs (1910) that Griffin prepared for real estate developer William F. Tempel. As Tempel and Walter were amongst the partners of the "Community Development Company", it seems likely that this unrealised project was envisaged for the company's "Trier Centre Neighbourhood" development in suburban Chicago where Walter and Marion also planned to live."--Auction catalogue: Shapiro Auctioneers, formerly Phillips Auctioneers, Modern + contemporary: Lot 355, 9 May 2002, p. 179.
