Photographs of Indo-Chinese refugees and staff from the Metta Foundation, Sydney, and the Springvale Migrant Settlement Centre, Melbourne. The Metta Foundation, a non-church, non-government welfare agency operating from St Patrick's Catholic Church Hall, Bondi, was established to help refugees settle into Sydney. Images include: Vietnamese and Cambodian children and adults learning English at the Metta Foundation; children in the Metta Foundation kindergarten; housing officers at Springvale talking with Vietnamese families; young people playing netball.
