- National Library of Australia's NK6005 copy (26 cm.) rebound with marbled boards; lacks contents pages and map but has list of subscribers bound to rear; stamped throughout, "Lit & Phil. Soc. Newcastle"; bears the bookplate of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1778/11).
- National Library of Australia's NK4057 copy bound as a companion to 'A voyage round the world in His Britannic Majesty's sloop, Resolution, commanded by Capt. James Cook, during the years 1772, 3, 4, and 5' / by George Forster; bears the bookplate of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1778/10).
- National Library of Australia's SRq COOK 52 copy (formerly SRq/ef 910.4 C771 P486) with list of subscribers bound between the preface and table of contents is from the complete green stamped Petherick set consisting of 11 titles including various editions of the three official accounts (B648, B1217, B1553); Parkinson (B714); Forster's Account (B1247), Observations (B1262) and Characteres (B1385); Observations by Wales (B719) and Bayly (B1287); Kippis (B32); Samwell (B1620) and atlas (B1553). The 15 volume texts and atlas with spine title: Cook's voyages. Each volume has a second spine title for the title of the work. Entire set with atlas is 16 volumes bound subsequent to publication in green morocco with gold embossed covers and spines.
- National Library of Australia's RBq (Copy 1) as issued in publisher's green boards is untrimmed; repair to back of title page where an ink inscription has been rubbed off with another abrasion to top right corner where a manuscript name has been erased - H. ? ?d.
- National Library of Australia's RBq (Copy 2) stamped Commonwealth of Australia, Library of the Parliament, 17 Nov 1904 with accession no. 7366 contains the armorial bookplate of Richard Prime ('Nil invita minerva'); fully bound in mottled leather boards, marbled endpapers and decorated gilt spine.
