They mourn over the lost glory of Israel & the temple [the Wailing Wall is one of the most holy of Jewish shrines, and here Jews assemble in large numbers to meditate over the history of their race, and to kiss the sacred stones and weep outside the precincts they may not enter. The 'precincts', known as the Haram esh Sharif, are held by the Moslems".
