Microfilm includes: 1. Papers 1847-79 of Sir Henry Keppel, including log of Meander, account of voyages in East Indies, labour problem in East Indies and death of Capt. Owen Stanley. 2. Papers 1839-43 of Henry G. Hamilton, including letters written from Sydney and Clarence River to his family in England. 3. Papers 1945-54 of Sir Louis Hamilton, including account of Mission to Australia, discussions on post war forces and visit of American Fleet. Correspondents include Lord Mountbatten and Sir Hugh Binney.
- Biography/History:

Sir Henry Keppel, father-in-law of Frederick Hamilton, served on the China Station 1866-69. Henry G. Hamilton emigrated to Australia in 1839. Sir Louis H. Keppel Hamilton served as a member of the Commonwealth Naval Board in Australia in 1945-48.
