- See PIC FH/3032, PIC FH/3035 and cover. " The temple is built in a natural majestic amphitheatre in the Theban Hills and is one of the finest relics from Ancient Egypt. It was built (as all mortuary temples were) for the worship of the soul after death. This terraced temple differs from all others rising as it does in three tiers each connected by a ramp. The queen was of the 18th dynasty and was apparently a very dominating and capable woman.".
