- Biography/History:

Sir Richard Blackburn was a South Australian Rhodes Scholar who studied at Oxford and served with the 2nd AIF in World War II. He later became Chief Justice of the ACT Supreme Court and Chancellor of the Australian National University. He was knighted in 1983.
